EXTERNAL AND BUSINESS AFFAIRS
Short DescriptionÂ
       Based on the Higher Education Modernization Act of 1997 (RA No.8292), authorized the SUC governing board to pursuit of their mandate to provide quality higher education of the least cost possible, and are encouraged and authorized under this Act to undertake revenue raising activities that will enable them to generate income to augment declining government subsidy to their maintenance and other operating expenses. In other words, SUC’s are now to operate as corporate entities, by optimally managing their physical and manpower resources to maximize income generated from these assets.
          This is the main purpose of establishment and operating the (establishment and operating) External and Business Affair (EBA). Other concerned area of the office besides Resource Generation are Public Information Office, Alumni Affairs and Special Projects.

Program offered and Profile of External and Business Affairs
The External and Business Affairs unit is primarily created to help the University in income resource generation through rentals of facilities, product sales, consignee, Special training and Special Project Program. One of the Special Project Programs is fabrication and production of school / office furniture under Special Project Programs such as:

- Pole and Stanchion Cord
- Many more
 Another Program of EBA unit is the Special training Program that is a 40 hours one on one training of selected specialized technology course such as;

- Milling Machine Operator
A Milling Machine Operator is the one who sets-up and operates Milling Machine, performs machining such as face milling, groove milling, pocket milling, gear cutting, drilling/boring and T- slot milling on a metal or non- metal work pieces according to specifications, tooling, instructions, standard charts, knowledge and skills in machining procedures.

- CNC Milling Machine Programmer & Operator
 A CNC Milling Machine Programmer & Operator is the one who make program data, sets-up and operates CNC Milling Machine to perform machining such as face milling, groove milling, pocket milling, drilling/ slotting, contour milling and other related CNC operation on a metal or non- metal workpieces according to specification, tooling, instruction, standard charts and knowledge and skills in CNC programming and machining procedures.

- Lathe Machine Operator
A Lathe Machine Operator is the one who sets-up and operates Lathe Machine, performs machining such as facing, straight turning, chamfering, groove cutting, taper turning, threading, drilling/boring on a metal or non-metal workpieces according to specification, tooling, instruction, standard charts, knowledge and skills in turning processes.

- Mechatronics Servicing
Mechatronics Servicing is design to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitudes of a trainee on core competencies such as: installation, configuration and testing of mechatronics device in accordance with the industry standards. It includes basic competencies such as participate in work communication and practice occupational health and safety.

- School Uniform Making
This course deals on drafting patterns and School Uniforms both Blouse and Skirt. It includes skills development on different construction processes used in this garments.

- Basic Tailoring
This course deals on drafting patterns and assembling of Pants and Polo Skirt. It includes skills development in making different construction processes used in this garments.

 The subject focuses on the Refrigeration Mechanical, and Electrical parts, Basic electrical system Service and Repair and Installation, Basic welding, Brazing process and Tube Exercises.

The subject focuses on the Air Conditioning Mechanical, and Electrical parts, Basic electrical system and connection, Mechanical and Electrical System Service and Repair and Installation, Basic welding, Brazing process and Tube Exercises.

- BUSINESS SERVICES
These are daily income generation services of the unit that serves faculties, employees, especially the students and the community. These services include Photocopying, Lamination, Ring binding, and Production of University/School ID. It also includes the daily collection/sales such as Bluebook/ Test booklet, CvSU Vehicle Sticker, I.D. Lace and Aguinaldo Blend Coffee.

- RENTAL FACILITIES
The University provides rental of event and / or sport area to those who want to conduct their seminar, events and sport fest.

- CVSU HOSTEL
The University provides rental of function hall and overnight stay rooms to those who want to conduct their seminar, meetings, and special occasion.

- RENTAL OF SPACE FOR MICRO- ENTERPRISES
The University provides a variety of small rental spaces such as food stall & kiosk, copying/printing and school supplies.

- CVSU WATER STATION
The University provides a potable clean water to faculties, employees, students and community.

- TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
The University provides a transportation service for faculties, employee, students and guests from Bacao road to University compound and vice versa.

The unit assists the accredited suppliers to sell their products/goods such as the School Uniform, School Uniforms, P.E. Uniforms, NSTP Uniforms, HS Books and Book Binding (Hardbound) to the students.
